About

Hey all!

I'm Peter, pleased to meet you.

I'm a one-man operation based in Seattle, and I'm so glad you've found my page.

I've been making things as long as I can remember. Starting with raw materials and ending up with something, whatever it may be, that wouldn't have existed without the work of my hands has always been the most intrinsically satisfying way to spend my time. I've always dreamed of making things for a living, and always have in one way or another. I've worked in restaurants and manufacturing, but they never quite scratched the maker itch the way I was looking for. So, I decided to go out on my own. As they say, if you do what you love, right?

I started experimenting with jewelry in late 2021, and fell in love. With all of it. The processes, the materials, the resulting pieces, the possibilities are endless and I was, and am, excited to explore them. My work tends to be material and process focused. I'm inspired by the properties of brass, in particular. It's a beautiful material that can be polished to a glowing luster, or, due to the copper content of the alloy, oxidized and patinated to a variety of earthy colors. It's relatively easy to work and form, and is tough enough to survive for thousands of years. The cost of the raw material also allows me to offer beautiful and unique jewelry at a much lower price than silver or gold.

I intend to continue to hone my craft and explore jewelry tools and techniques for years to come. I thank you for your support, and hope you can find something in my store that speaks to you.
